What Rose Drop keeps
Rose Drop is a free game made by Boost Lab, Inc. for Elizabeth Rose Boutique in Dade City, Florida. It is made for children and their families, so it is built to know as little as possible about who is playing.
In short: no accounts, no names, no emails, no photos, no location, no ads, no ad trackers, and nothing is ever sold. Children never type anything.
Kept on your device
- Your best scores, stickers, Rose Garden and settings.
- A random code made up by the game (a "device id") so it can tell your scores apart from everyone else's. It is not linked to you, your phone number or your phone's own identifiers.
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes all of it.
Sent to our game server
- The random device id and a random code for each visit.
- What happens in the game: games started and finished, scores, the biggest item made, which screens were opened, and whether a grown-up tapped a link to the boutique's shop.
- If you choose to be on the scores: a nickname picked from two word lists, like "Twirly Bow". Nicknames cannot be typed, so they cannot contain a real name.
This is used only to run the game: to show the scores, to count how many people play and come back, and to make the game better. It is never used for advertising and never shared with advertisers. The scores show nicknames and points only.
Like any website, the server that receives these counts sees the internet address of the connection. The game does not store it.
How long it is kept
Play counts are deleted automatically after 90 days. Scores are deleted after one year.
Links to the boutique
Links to Elizabeth Rose Boutique's online shop are only in the part of the game marked "For grown-ups", behind a grown-up question. They open the shop in your browser, where the shop's own privacy policy applies. The links say they came from Rose Drop, and nothing else: never your device id or nickname.
Sharing
The Share button (also behind the grown-up question) makes a picture of your score and opens your phone's own share menu, so you choose who sees it. The game does not see who you share with.
Keeping it safe
The game's data is stored with Supabase. The tables can only be read by Boost Lab; the game itself can only add scores and counts, through checks that refuse anything that does not look like a real game.
Questions or deleting data
Clearing this site's data removes everything from your device straight away. The copy on the server is anonymous and deletes itself on the schedule above. To ask about any of this, or to have it removed sooner, contact Boost Lab, Inc. through theboostlab.com with the nickname you picked, if you picked one.
